Each pair is tested by an expert craftsperson in Japan before it ships, checked for edge, balance and smooth action. As a limited edition, it is made in smaller numbers than the core range.

The 42-tooth blade is designed to remove around a quarter to a third of the hair caught in each pass. That cut ratio makes it a versatile blender, enough to reduce weight and break up bulk, while staying controlled enough for soft, even transitions through the mid-lengths and ends. VG-10 steel and a convex cutting edge

VG-10 is a Japanese high-carbon stainless steel valued for edge retention and corrosion resistance, hardened here to around 60-61 HRC. The solid blade carries a hand-honed convex edge that meets the toothed blade cleanly, so hair is caught and released smoothly without pushing or bending.

3D offset ergonomics

The 3D offset handle is contoured so the thumb and fingers sit in a natural, relaxed position, which lowers the wrist and thumb strain that build up over a long shift, with a finger rest to steady longer sessions.
